“The Miners’ Hymns,” film by Bill Morrison- with live music

Tue / Feb 11 / 2014 / 7:30 pm “The Miners’ Hymns” is a wordless film by American multi-media artist Bill Morrison with a musical score by Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson.  The New Yorker called it the best film score of 2012.  The music will be performed live by Jóhannsson on electronics, a string quartet from ACME, and a large brass ensemble from The Denver Brass.
